Integrated Reception Systems distribute the signals from communal aerials and satellite antennas, which can be hidden from public view on roof of one central building to each viewer in the system as though connected to their own individual aerials and satellite dishes. These systems provide reception of multiple channels from one or more satellites, Freeview, DAB and FM radio. In addition it can also distribute channels from local CCTV systems.
The main advantage of an IRS is that it allows the individual user the freedom to access any Satellite, TV or radio channel received by the system antennas.
